Mzomtsha Ngqeleni Orphanage

As a firm believer in the importance of child safety and education, Bosasa recently took the Mzomtsha Children’s Home in Nyandeni, Eastern Cape, under its wing.

The centre is home to some 62 destitute orphans between the ages of seven to seventeen. With the growing number of orphans, and children raising children due to the high prevalence of HIV/Aids, we at Bosasa jumped at the opportunity to contribute to these little treasures.

The Department of Correctional Services in the Eastern Cape identified and brought to our attention, the dire needs of the Home. 

In a recent charity drive, Bosasa staff joined forces to supply the Home with food, therapy, medication and security. Even basic resources like shelter and the loving care, support and guidance from communities were foreign to these children.

We are proud to be associated with the Home and continue to support the orphans of the Nyandeni region.
