Our people live out our mission, vision, values and ethos and thus they are vital in our world class organisation. To this end we capacitate staff through skills transfer, mentorship programmes and training & development programmes.
Managers undergo intensive in house Leadership training provided by the prestigious Watson Institute of Business Leadership. All staff members are also trained in Child & Youth Care irrespective of their occupation. Bosasa Youth Development Centres has recently received full accreditation from the HWSETA (Health & Welfare Sector Education & Training Authority) for the provision of the FETC: Child & Youth Care. This accreditation is valid for 5 years and our child and youth care workers will now be trained in an accredited Further Education & Training Certificate: Professional Practice in Child & Youth Care.
