Thandi Makoko has introduced the Holistic Youth Development Strategy to Bosasa. She believes and practices the second chance theory for every Childs development. With paradigm shift thinking she has pioneered fresh and successful approaches to youth development, she has overseen the application of her vision expand from one centre in Gauteng to operating in six different provinces.
Thandi has a B.A. Social Science (Social Work) (UNIN, Limpopo), an Honors Degree in Probation and Correctional Practice (UCT) and a Masters Degree in Social Work (UCT). [Research: Dissertation, An investigation into the Experiential World of Children awaiting trial in Bosasa Dyambu youth Centre’s.]
She is embarking on Doctoral studies pertaining to children and youth.
