Danie van Tonder - Head of Finance and Operations

Danie van Tonder is a specialist in financial management, and an expert in integrated operations systems. This means that while the rest of the team interacts directly with the children, Danie meticulously ensures that the flow of information between the various facilities is streamlined and transparent.
Through his expertise, Danie is known for delivering results with a strong focus on economic and social development. Good business ethics and high standards of financial management are paramount in the success of our centres. By effectively overseeing finance and operations, he makes valuable contributions to the service excellence that we, at BOSASA, strive to uphold. We endorse corporate governance that maintains the smooth running of all the facilities and programmes that we offer at our Youth Centres. Budgets are allocated accordingly to meet the operational requirements in each area of the company. These cover everything from day to day costs, to training programmes and the upkeep of technologies which are crucial to the flow of information.

Our Youth Centres operate with the highest standards when taking the needs of the children into account. Our financial practice is conducted with years of experience and disciplined analysis. While problem solving and planning is his forte, Danie ensures that finance and operational systems propagate the hard work and efforts of our employees. In turn, they can focus on the education and overall well-being of the youth.

"Be known for pleasing others, especially if you govern them... Ruling others has one advantage: you can do more than anyone else" - Baltasar Gracian
